Value for money audit

In 2004/5 and 2005/6 I was the UK National Audit Office Research Fellow, under an arrangement with Enterprise LSE.

A major piece of work resulted from this appointment examining ‘value-for-money’ auditing in the context of relations between auditors and auditees through a comparative study between the UK NAO and the French Cour des Comptes. The paper, co written with Professor Ed Page at LSE, is currently awaiting publication. Preliminary results were presented at the UKES/EES conference in October 2006.
